Woman, dog both sick after eating recalled pet food

After noticing her dog, Missy, wasn't eating, Elaine Larabie said she took bites of Iams pet food in order to trick the terrier into thinking it was people food.

The ploy worked and the mealtime routine continued for about two weeks until both dog and master became sick on March 17.

Ma'am, perhaps there was a reason why your dog didn't want to touch the stuff. 

Ok ok, twist my arm. I'm sold. People really shouldn't eat dog food. This is just one more reason.
